Louise Connolly

Louise is Chief Financial Officer of Beacon Medical Group, having joined as Financial Controller in 2010. Louise leads the finance team across the group with responsibility for procurement, banking, tax and corporate transactions.

Louise is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a BComm and Master of Accounting from University College Dublin. Louise qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC and has over 15 years’ experience in domestic and international financial management roles.

Pauline Cullen

Prior to joining BMG in 2003 as Commercial Director, Pauline held senior marketing positions in An Post, Eircom and Ryanair and co-managed the Marketing Development Masters Programme in the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School. Pauline has an honours degree in Business & Economics from Trinity College.

ROBERT WATSON

Robert Watson joined Beacon Medical Group after completing a BA in Computer Science and Economics from University College Dublin in 2006 and holds a HDIP in Management from University College Cork. Robert is responsible for managing the day to day operations of BMG’s commercial interests including business development.

Robert’s expertise extends to all aspects of health planning design, operational commissioning, medical equipment planning and procurement and project management. Robert managed the construction, fit out and operational commissioning for three fully serviced satellite dialysis clinics in Sandyford, Tallaght and Drogheda which were delivered on time and within budget. Robert is actively involved in business development through public procurement tenders issued within the healthcare arena. He has also worked on the successful awarding of Joint International Accreditation for Beacon Hospital and Beacon Renal. Robert is currently undertaking a Master’s in Business from UCC.

JOHN DELANEY

A fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants, John Delaney (BComm, FCA) is Managing Partner in Delaney Locke and Thorpe, heading up the Corporate and Commercial Department, and has considerable experience (over 25 years) in mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, venture capital and management buyouts.

John’s expertise extends to transactions over a wide range of sectors, both domestically and internationally, including property, healthcare, retail, hospitality and leisure, sport and manufacturing.

MICHAEL CULLEN

Mr. Michael Cullen is Chief Executive and co-founder of Beacon Medical Group (BMG).

BMG developed the Beacon Medical Campus which incorporates the 214 bed Beacon Hospital, Beacon Consultants Clinic and Concourse, Beacon Hall, Beacon Renal, Beacon CARE Fertility, Beacon Face and Dermatology, The Wellington Eye Clinic, Weight Motivation Clinics, Beacon Pain Clinic, Evie and Beacon Pharmacy among others.

Michael is the CEO of Beacon Hospital and the founding director of two charities, Pathways to Adoption and Soul of Haiti Foundation. Michael has been a finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. He holds a Commerce Degree from UCD.

PROF. MARK REDMOND

Prof J Mark Redmond is one of the leading cardiothoracic surgeons in the country. Mark completed nine years of general surgery and cardiothoracic training in the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore, Maryland, USA as well as a further 3 years on faculty.

He held a number of prominent positions, including Director of Paediatric Heart and Lung Transplants, Co-Director of the Albert Broccoli Centre for Aortic Diseases, and was Director of The Cardiac Research Laboratories at Johns Hopkins.

He returned to Ireland in 2000 and is currently a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon at Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children Crumlin. He remains an active member of the full time surgical faculty at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Professor Redmond is a regular lecturer at medical conferences worldwide. Mark is Medical Director of Beacon Hospital.
